 How to root your ls980 Sprint variant

 To root your sprint LS980 you will need a couple of files/programs first to do so. You will need the adb and usb driver for your phone and the program ioroot, for both you can do a google search and find them pretty simple.
Tips: always make a a backup and If your rooting for the first time you should save your imp. files on a comp. for easy access or in case rooting causes a problem, not saying that it should but there is always a risk to rooting your phone.

 once ioroot24 zip is downloaded and then extracted preferably in desktop so its easy to find(the reason you need ioroot24 is because it has the files needed for sprint)
 plug the phone in mtp mode
 usb debugging enabled, to do this you have to go into settings, about phone and hit build number until you see a  messagethat says you have enabled developer options, hit back twice and go into developer option and enable  usb debugging
once you do that go to the ioroot folder and click the root.bat file, it will start a cmd promt and give the instructions on what to do. fairly simple to follow and as the program is running read along to make sure no problems have occurred. once the program has completed it should reboot your phone, if not do so and you should be rooted :).
If any problems occur durring rooting process you should revert back to factory settings and start again.
